Support Hong Kong, Taiwan’s Land Commission proposed three proposals to help Hong Kong and Macau residents to come to Taiwan

Taiwan’s Land Commission today proposed a three-pronged approach, which will be discussed by an inter-ministerial committee to relax the system and regulations for Hong Kong and Macao residents to come to Taiwan for settlement.

The government encourages youth entrepreneurship, such as youth entrepreneurship and the 5+2 innovation industry.

When asked by the media whether the channels for Hong Kong protesters to come to Taiwan will be relaxed, Chiu pointed out that pro-democracy protesters need to follow Article 18 of the Hong Kong and Macau Ordinance, which stipulates that their freedom and security are in urgent danger due to political factors, and the government is coordinating this part. The current regulations are sufficient to provide assistance, but if there are any shortcomings, we will discuss and refine the mechanism.
