Executive Order Justifies Trump’s Response to Chinese Communist Interference in Election

Recently, Linwood, a top U.S. attorney who is fighting to defend American democracy and expose corruption in the election, tweeted twice about the need to focus on the September 2018 Presidential Executive Order, which not only gives the President the power to declare a national emergency to address the threat of foreign interference in U.S. elections, but also outlines punitive measures against foreign meddling forces.

Watch the September 2018 Presidential Executive Order

On the morning of November 30, local time, attorney Linwood sent out the first tweet: “Good morning! For patriots, today is a good day to study the September 2018 Presidential Executive Order. To believe that there are people in our government who love our country and the rule of law, like Donald Trump (Trump). Justice is coming.” A link to the referenced executive order on the White House website is attached below the tweet.

Shortly after this tweet, Linwood sent out a second, related tweet in response to why the presidential order against foreign interference in the election had not yet been used: “Look at the deadline for presidential executive orders. All lies will be exposed. The Democrats have cried Russia (election meddling) for years. This time, they have fallen into a trap. Patriots will soon know the bad guys in China, Iran, Venezuela, Canada, Cuba, Germany, Spain, and Mexico.”

In a previous interview with The Thrive Time hosts Clay Clark and Dr. Robert Zoellner on November 21, Linwood also mentioned, “Look what Trump did in 2018 with his executive order as a response to foreign interference in our country’s election The government of the United States is not going to do that.” He also said, “I’m going to see a lot of people going to jail for a while to come.”

Executive Order Addresses Foreign Intervention in Election

This Presidential Executive Order, which Linwood keeps referring to, was issued by President Trump on September 12, 2018, under the full title “Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in U.S. Elections” (Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions). (Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election). This Executive Order is issued pursuant to the President’s authority under the U.S. Constitution and U.S. law, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 USC 1701 et seq.), the National Emergencies Act (50 USC 1601 et seq.), section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 (8 USC 1182(f)), and section 301 of Title 3 of the U.S. Code. .

In the Executive Order, in the event of foreign interference in the U.S. election, Trump can declare a national emergency to address the threat. Under the executive order, “election interference” is defined to include interference with election infrastructure, as well as propaganda and dissemination of false information. No later than 45 days after the election, the Director of National Intelligence is required to assess the interference by foreign governments and their agents in the U.S. election and submit a report to the President and other Cabinet members. The Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security are then required to evaluate the report and report their findings to the President and others.

All assets of foreign entities (associations, trusts, joint ventures, corporations, groups, subgroups, or other organizations) or individuals who directly or indirectly engage in, sponsor, including financial and technical support for, or interfere in, U.S. elections, as determined by the Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Secretary of Homeland Security in consultation, are frozen and may not be transferred, paid for, exported, or otherwise disposed of in the United States.

Other penalties include: a ban on all transactions in personal property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction; restrictions on export licenses under any statute or regulation that requires prior review and approval by the U.S. government as a condition for the export or re-export of goods or services; a ban on U.S. financial institutions lending or extending credit to persons; restrictions on foreign exchange transactions of interest to persons; a ban on the transfer of credit or payments between financial institutions or through transfer to any financial institution for the benefit of persons; a ban on U.S. persons investing in or purchasing equity or debt of persons; and the expulsion of persons’ foreign corporate officers from the U.S., among other things.

Undoubtedly, Trump’s executive order of two years ago, which has not been suspended, is applicable to the present.

Evidence of Chinese Communist Party Meddling in the Election Emerges

In recent times, evidence of collusion between the Chinese Communist Party and the deep-rooted U.S. government, ballot modification and other interference in the U.S. election has been surfacing.

On November 19, at a press conference held by Trump’s legal team to reveal bombshell information, Mr. Powell stated bluntly that U.S. ballot data was sent overseas for counting, and that the Dominion voting machines and Smartmatic counting software used in the U.S. were controlled by foreign interests that manipulated the algorithms to change the results. She noted in particular that “communist money” from Cuba, Venezuela, and the Chinese Communist Party was likely to be used to influence the U.S. election.

On November 26, Powell filed a lawsuit in Georgia. In the suit, dubbed the “Mother of All Bombs,” not only was it revealed that the hardware for the Dominion system was made in China, but that Biden had personally met with the hackers and appointed the Serbs to take control of Dominion. As explained and demonstrated by a former electronic intelligence analyst at the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion (who had experience collecting electronic intelligence on the SAM missile system), the Dominion software was accessed by agents on behalf of the Chinese (Communist Party) and Iranian agents to monitor and manipulate elections. This includes the recent 2020 U.S. elections. This statement also includes a Dominion-specific record in which Eric Coomer is listed as the first inventor of the Dominion voting system”.

On December 1, a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing revealed that the parent company of the Dominion voting system received $400 million from a Swiss investment bank in which the Chinese government had a 75% stake. According to a report provided by Austin Security and Investigative Solutions, “UBS Securities, a Swiss investment bank, owns 24.99% of the shares of UBS Securities Limited, a Chinese investment bank, and the remaining 75% of UBS Securities Limited. The remaining 75 percent of UBS Securities Ltd. is owned by the Chinese government.” The CCP Securities Regulatory Commission later approved an increase in UBS Securities’ shareholding from 24.99% to 51%.

If the U.S. has solid evidence that the Chinese Communist Party used voting machines and other means to interfere in the U.S. election, it would be logical for Trump to use the “Executive Order Imposing Certain Sanctions in Cases of Foreign Interference in U.S. Elections” that he issued two years ago.
