U.S. Marine Corps Major Arrested for Leading Congressional Charge After 18 Years of Service in Iraq and Afghanistan

Former U.S. President Donald Trump supporters stormed Congress, shocking the world.

Christopher Warnagiris, an active-duty U.S. Marine Corps major, was arrested and charged with assault on police and a number of other charges for his involvement in the Jan. 6 incident in support of Trump, and if convicted, will face up to 20 years in prison.

Christopher Warnagiris, 40, has served in the Marine Corps for 18 years, having been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and is currently serving in the Marine Corps’ Department of Corrections in Virginia.
