White House Counselor Navarro: If re-elected, Trump will continue to be tough on China

U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade adviser, Peter Navarro, said on March 30 that if Trump is re-elected, his tough stance on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) will continue and he will take a very firm position.

In an interview with the Epoch Times program “American Thought Leaders,” Navarro said that no president has ever been as brave as Trump in confronting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which has taken a series of actions, including U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports, sanctions against China’s Huawei, and sanctions against Beijing for eroding Hong Kong’s freedom and military aggression in the South China Sea.

Navarro noted that if Trump wins again, a second term could certainly see a continuation of his tough stance against the CCP, which has taken a very firm stance against the Chinese Communist Party and will continue to do so. Navarro said that they are unable to raise awareness of the CCP through the mainstream media so that Americans will realize that the Wuhan pneumonia (new coronavirus disease, COVID-19) virus really comes from the CCP, that the CCP is killing Americans, that Americans should be angry at the CCP, and that this issue should be closely related to the U.S. election.
