The United Kingdom today called for the formation of an international cyber security coalition to counter cyber attacks by China, Russia, Iran and North Korea.
British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said an international coalition is needed to strengthen cyber security against state actors and criminals who seek to undermine democratic norms.
Speaking at an online conference organized by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Raab said authoritarian states are “distorting principles to achieve their own malicious goals.
He added: “These actors are the industrial-scale disruptors of the 21st century. They want to undermine the very foundations of our democracy.”
