More than 120 retired military flag-bearer veterans issued a joint letter Monday, May 10, warning that the United States is in “deep danger” because of the “tremendous attack” by those who believe in socialism and Marxism. They encouraged Americans to become more politically engaged in order to take action against socialism.
In their letter, the veterans said, “We are at a point where we are fighting for the survival of our constitutional republic as we have not done since its founding in 1776,” Breitbart News reported Tuesday, May 11. This conflict is between the supporters of socialism and Marxism and the supporters of constitutional liberty.”
They added, “We must support politicians who act against socialism, Marxism and progressivism, support our constitutional republic and insist on fiscally responsible governance.”
The veterans also said that the Chinese Communist Party is “the greatest external threat to the United States,” so they called on the U.S. government to impose more sanctions and restrictions on the Chinese Communist Party.
They also pointed out that the Democrats’ use of racial excuses to suppress electoral integrity is itself a tyrannical scare tactic. And their introduction of House Bill H.R. 1 and Senate companion bill S.1 would undermine the fairness of elections and keep Democrats in power forever.
In addition, they blasted the Biden administration for acting “dictatorially” by issuing more than 50 executive orders to bypass Congress and overturn the policies of the Trump administration. “The Biden team’s excessive blockades, school and business closures, and speech censorship are a direct attack on the basic rights of Americans.”
