People in Manila protest to “get rid of China”

People in Manila went outside the Chinese embassy on July 7 to protest President Duterte’s soft stance on China. Some people wore Duterte’s cartoon mask and lay on a bed surrounded by mosquito nets to sarcastically criticize his inaction. A number of people raised signs saying “China out”, asking China not to intrude into Philippine sovereign waters again. The company said on Saturday that the South China Sea arbitration result is “just a piece of paper, I will throw it into the waste paper basket”.
