Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement in the U.S., was shocked to learn that at a private gathering facilitated by far-leftist Eric Mann, he agreed that Mann’s book He suggested buying more than 10 copies of Mann’s books for young people to read.
According to Forsyth News, Karos revealed at the gathering that she had spoken with an Arizona youth who opposed the “Pro-Enforcement and Safe Communities Act (SB 1070, known as the toughest anti-immigrant law in the United States)” and picked up Mann’s work and said it was like the “Quotations from Chairman Mao.
Carlos said she thought it would be cool to link the two books and suggested that they could buy 10 to 15 copies of Mann’s book for youth organizations to discuss together. In fact, Karos had previously described herself and another BLM sponsor, Alicia Garza, as “trained Marxists.
As Mao Zedong is known to have said, “Revolution is not a dinner, not an article, not a painting and embroidery, not so elegant, so unhurried, so refined, so gentle. Revolution is a riot, a violent action of one class overthrowing another class”, I wonder if part of BLM’s riotous behavior has been borrowed from this, neither Carlos nor BLM has responded yet.
