The King of Thailand’s concubine gave birth to a child in Germany, and the Queen’s position as a concubine may be unstable

There are rumors that a concubine of the King of Thailand (left) gave birth to a prince in Germany, or threaten the status of Queen Suthep (right).

Andrew MacGregor Marshall, a British journalist who specializes in covering news about the Thai royal family, recently posted on Twitter that according to reliable information, one of the King’s concubines gave birth to his son in Germany earlier and the mother and child are currently recuperating in Switzerland. There is speculation that the status of Queen Suthep and Princess Sinead, who have no children, may be threatened.

In a posting on Friday (April 30), Marshall said sources said the concubine had given birth to the prince in Bavaria and that the mother and child had been sent to Switzerland to stay at the Hotel Waldegg in Engelberg. Marshall did not say which concubine was which.

Marshall said the hotel is the Queen Suthep, the previous year to be crowned queen before the frequent stay, every time when the Thai king came to visit, the royal entourage and hotel staff have become nervous, fearing that the slightest mistake will be punished. The German media reported that the King has more than 20 concubines in his harem, with five sons, but only with his third wife, the 16-year-old son of the abolition of the Crown Princess Silasmi is the legal heir, the outside world speculation that the concubine just gave birth to a young prince will be “mother by son”, threatening the status of the Queen and the Princess.

Marshall posted on Twitter to break the news.
