A few days ago, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection website news, Heilongjiang reported seven corruption issues. The former secretary of the Anda Municipal Party Committee Liu Shufen and other people are listed among the problems.
According to the report, from January 2014 to October 2020, Liu Shufen illegally received gifts of more than 9.08 million yuan from 119 public officials, including more than 5.29 million yuan after the 19th Communist Party Congress. Liu Shufen also had other disciplinary and illegal problems.
On Nov. 3, 2020, Liu Shufen was investigated.
Liu Shufen, female, born in September 1968, a native of Yichun, Heilongjiang, has served as a member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Wangkui County, Heilongjiang, a member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Zhaodong City, Deputy Secretary, Mayor and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Anda City.
On February 8, 2021, local officials informed Liu Shufen was double-opened.
Liu Shufen was accused of transferring and concealing evidence, confronting censorship; accepting huge gifts in violation of the law; not reporting personal matters as required, seeking personnel benefits for others and accepting money in violation of the law; interfering in engineering projects, government procurement, money lending and other activities in violation of the government’s decision to assume responsibility for corporate debt guarantees; using his position to facilitate the promotion of cadres, job adjustments, engineering projects, etc. The government is suspected of accepting bribes.
Liu Shufen was also accused of accepting gifts and gratuities and engaging in power and money deals.
Heilongjiang informed the seven corruption issues, in addition to the former secretary of the Anda Municipal Committee Liu Shufen’s problems, the other six were.
