The Nevada Republican’s affidavit cites an analysis by a data expert that found an abnormal increase in incomplete voter registrations in the state over a two-month period.
Data expert Dorothy Morgan noted that in the 2020 election, Nevada has seen a “historically unusual” spike in voter registration, with many voters under-reporting their gender and age, and even writing “home or mailing address” for casinos and camper parking lots, in the state’s third congressional district, in Clark County and much of Las Vegas.
Using last year’s presidential election as an example, Morgan said 68 voters’ registrations were missing information in 2016, but in 2020, 13,372 voters lacked that information, she said. Morgan found that about 74 percent of incomplete registrations occurred between July 2020 and September 2020.
“This survey found that more than 13,000 people have voter registration information that does not show their gender and date of birth. Not only does this mean we can’t verify that these voters are old enough to vote, it’s also a historical oddity.” Morgan said, “Records with missing, or invalid, information on voter registrations have been very, very rare in the past, and unexpectedly rose to 13,372 this year.”
She wrote in the document, “I also found dozens of voters who put their home or mailing address on temporary camper parking and casinos.”
In an interview on Thanksgiving Day, Morgan said she found the data very odd, “There were a lot of people in there with zero birthdays, zero birth months, and then gender unknown.” By contrast, she added, “It’s not right that in the past only a few people would be missing registration information, but in 2020 suddenly 13,000 people are making that mistake.”
The Nevada Secretary of State’s office did not respond to a request for comment Friday (Nov. 27).
Election data in Nevada shows Democrat Biden leading President Donald Trump by more than 30,000 votes. Earlier this week, the state’s Supreme Court certified Biden’s victory.
Jesse Binnall, a Nevada attorney for the Trump campaign, said on Nov. 24 that he would prove Nevada had many fraudulent ballots and that Trump would be the rightful winner of the state’s six electoral college votes, if fraud and irregularities in the election were subtracted.
