The Gateway Pundit reported on May 2 that Ms. Michelle Fuentes of Texas told a local television station that she had recently been fired from her job as a nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital after 10 years of service for refusing to get vaccinated against the Chinese Communist virus.
Houston Methodist Hospital announced in April that it would require employees to be vaccinated against the Chinese Communist virus by June 7. The hospital allowed the vaccine to be withheld for medical and religious reasons, but employees had until May 3 to submit documentation.
Fuentes said she has no religious exemption and the non-vaccination is not for religious reasons. The person filling out the form said, “We’ll put it in for you that it’s a religious reason, and at least it will save your job.
Fuentes didn’t do that, saying, “I don’t have a religious reason, I just want to see the final vaccine trial results come back before I make a decision.”
The nurse, who had reportedly recovered from CCP pneumonia, presented the hospital with lab results for antibodies to the CCP virus, but Houston Methodist Hospital fired her anyway.
A medical study examining T-cell responses in people recovering from CCP pneumonia was recently published and showed that “T-cell immunity after natural infection includes variants.”
The question posed by The Gateway Pundit is why did this nurse need the vaccination when she was already infected and already had immunity to the CCP virus?
Houston Methodist Hospital’s response to the question of vaccination for nurses was, “We don’t force our staff to get vaccinated, but we need to keep our patients safe and we need to keep them from getting infected.”
