The political and legal committee cold-bloodedly put words to satirize India, exposing themselves to the nature of the Chinese Communist Party

On May 1, the official microblog of the Chinese Communist Party’s Political and Legal Committee posted a picture comparing the rocket lift-off in the mainland and the burning of a corpse on fire in India, satirizing India’s ineffectiveness in fighting the epidemic. The article sparked a protest from the Indian Embassy in China and ignited public opinion. One netizen’s comment was concise and precise: “Inhumane and very underhanded.”

What is the role of the Political and Legal Committee? On November 11, 2019, a young man suffered liver and kidney damage when Hong Kong traffic police fired live ammunition at demonstrators who had not acted aggressively. After the incident, the Public WeChat of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, “Chang’an Jian,” said, “Never treat thugs softly, and applaud the Hong Kong police for their decisive use of weapons.”

On February 18 last year, the Political and Legal Affairs Commission issued a special notice on the epidemic report, requiring “increased publicity for advanced models” to “stimulate” “positive energy” and launch “warm news”. In other words, the party needs to concoct a lot of false content that illuminates the advanced nature of party members in order to fool the people and confuse them. Now that the “pencil” is controlled by the “knife handle”, it is not surprising that the party media is so cold and explosive.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the CCP has frequently gloated over the epidemic in other countries, accompanied by a cover-up of the truth about the epidemic in China and a reversal of right and wrong. It is clear that the CCP’s primary concern in the epidemic issue is to take every opportunity to portray its “greatness” and to attack foreign governments, especially those countries and dignitaries who dare to say “no” to the CCP. In this process, the words and actions of the Party media and certain “war wolf” diplomats are staggering and do not match up with the CPC’s propaganda of cooperation against the epidemic and building a community of human destiny.

On February 24 last year, when the epidemic was still raging in Wuhan, the Chinese Communist Party mouthpiece Global Times published an editorial in English, classifying South Korea, Japan, Iran and other countries as “countries where the virus is spreading rapidly” and saying that “these countries are lagging behind in prevention and control measures, which is worrying”. On the same day, the Chinese media outlet “Today’s Headlines” described the spread of the virus in South Korea, saying, “China took the exam without preparation, and South Korea copied (China’s) test papers, but the results were the opposite.”

On March 4 of last year, the Communist Party’s Xinhua News Agency threatened the United States in a commentary, “At this time, as soon as China announces that it will try to satisfy its domestic needs and ban exports, the United States will be plunged into the hell of the new pneumonia epidemic.”

On April 30 of last year, Xinhua produced a short animated video mocking the U.S. for its ineffectiveness in fighting the epidemic. At the same time, the party media People’s Daily published a commentary calling the U.S. claim against the Chinese Communist Party a “shame of civilization.

On Dec. 6 last year, the mouthpiece Around the Clock called out the U.S. in an editorial, saying it was “taking human lives and breaking the humanitarian line.

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that the Chinese Communist Party is using the epidemic as an excuse to retaliate and smear the Trump administration, which has resolutely resisted Chinese Communist infiltration. The fact is that with the strong support and active promotion of President Trump, the United States quickly and successfully developed a vaccine and immediately launched mass vaccination. In contrast, the vaccine launched by the Chinese Communist Party has no guarantee of quality, and a large number of mainland officials are afraid to try the vaccine themselves.

This time, the Chinese Communist Party used the epidemic as a reason to stimulate India for three reasons. First, China and India have had military conflicts before; second, India and the United States are actively cooperating to confront the Chinese Communist Party; and third, to exaggerate the crisis in neighboring countries to highlight the “success” of the Party’s leadership. The posting was forced to be deleted by the Political and Legal Committee after a large number of netizens criticized it as “too embarrassing.

When it comes to the epidemic, the CCP likes to talk about “human conscience” and “human bottom line”. But in reality, what the Chinese Communist Party has done is exactly against the conscience and the bottom line of morality.

Around Qingming last year, Wuhan residents who lost their loved ones to the virus lined up to receive their ashes and arrange for burial, accompanied by unit or community members throughout the process, turning what should have been a solemn ceremony into a stability maintenance procedure and a political task.

At the time, one Wuhan citizen told Voice of America, “From the hospital visit, to the treatment to the passing away, to the burial, we feel all sparse and completely undignified.”

Another citizen questioned the authorities, “Why do we have to go through you for our life and death? Can’t I be buried myself? You don’t have a bit of consolation, a bit of compassion for these lost people, for these lives.”

The Chinese Communist Party boasts about the rapid completion of the “Vulcan Mountain”, but it avoids questions about the official announcement of the number of infected and dead people on the mainland, and it does not dare to accept foreign experts to enter the country to conduct an independent investigation to trace the source of the virus. How much of a humanitarian disaster and human rights persecution has been concealed behind the so-called “great nation against the epidemic”?

Currently, two citizen journalists, Zhang Zhan and Fang Bin, who were covering Wuhan, have been illegally arrested, with the former being sentenced to four years in prison and the latter’s whereabouts still unknown. The Chinese authorities have ignored the international community’s questions.

The words of lawyer Liang Xiaojun are worthy of common reflection by the international community. The Chinese Communist Party is responsible for the growing distrust and resentment of China among the people of many countries. The beautiful bubble of “cooperation against the epidemic”, “building a community of human destiny”, and “great power role” claimed by the Chinese Communist Party has been burst by its cold-blooded rhetoric, and deleting the postings will not help.
