In the general impression of “McDonald’s” will usually be gold M-shaped arches, with the red brand name, but in the United States there is a “blue” M-shaped arches, and even once became a new photo spot.
According to the “Mirror” report, a McDonald’s located in Arizona (Arizona) Sedona (Sedona), is the only McDonald’s in the world without a gold M-shaped arch, but a unique “light blue”.
As mentioned in the report, the McDonald’s opened in 1993, the exterior of the building has always been brown stone walls with light blue M-shaped arches, even to enter the store before the stone wall, there are also large light blue M-shaped arches, overturning the general impression of the previous “McDonald’s”.
When the McDonald’s was built 30 years ago, the local councilman was worried that the golden M-shaped arch sign would affect the magnificent local desert landscape and that tourists would be attracted by the “gold” and ignore the beautiful scenery on the side, so it was painted light blue. In fact, Sedona also has a law stating that the exterior of the building must not affect the natural beauty of the area, thus prompting the store to change the original gold color to “light blue”.
Ironically, however, the unique “Blue Arch” now attracts thousands of tourists to make the pilgrimage and has become a photo spot, defeating the original intent.
