Fauci advocates India to blockade the country to build temporary hospitals like China

India’s epidemic continues to spiral out of control, the U.S. Center for Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Fauci on Saturday (1) interviewed by the Indian media, suggested that India immediately closed the city for several weeks to cut off the transmission chain of the new coronavirus (Chinese communist virus), access to oxygen, drugs, protective equipment is also a top priority, and reference to China to build temporary hospitals.

Fauci said India should immediately seal off the country for a few weeks to curb the continued spread of the virus, referring to China last year in the initial outbreak of the epidemic also fully closed the city. He said the closure period does not need to be as long as six months, a short blockade can also stop the chain of transmission, a few weeks has been able to significantly change the development of the epidemic. He said that India’s anti-epidemic work is not organized, the government should set up a central task force to deal with the procurement of oxygen, drugs and protective equipment.

Fauci said India needs to refer to China in a few days or weeks to build emergency facilities such as hospitals to take care of people, describing it as an achievement that everyone is amazed by. He said only 2 percent of India’s population is currently vaccinated against the new crown, far from mass immunization, and that the government needs to contract as many companies as possible for vaccines, and that India, the world’s largest producer of vaccines, should improve its own ability to manufacture them.
