U.S. CDC data: nearly 10,000 people still infected with the disease after the new crown vaccination

The latest data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), released Friday, April 30, show that 9,245 of the U.S. population who were vaccinated against the new coronavirus (CCA virus) were still infected with the CCA virus as of mid-April. Of those infected, 835 (about 9 percent) required hospitalization and 132 died after being admitted to the hospital.

This new set of data from the CDC comes from 46 U.S. states and territories, and it is unclear which four states have not yet provided data. The data use a passive data surveillance system that relies on voluntary reporting by state health departments and is intended to be used for macro surveillance of the direction of the outbreak and to identify cases that are ineffective against the vaccine. However, due to a lack of testing, not all cases of this nature are identified and included in this data. The federal authorities encourage people to actively submit reports to the system.

Currently, the Passive Adverse Vaccine Event Reporting System (VAERS) has recorded more than 133,000 cases. Of those, 3,607 people have died from vaccinations, while 2,527 have become critically ill, 1,600 have become permanently disabled, and nearly 8,500 have required hospitalization.

On its website, the CDC said, “VAERS has not been able to conclude that there is a safety issue with the new coronavirus vaccine based on the causes of death identified to date.” In an April 27 statement, the CDC added: “Based on the clinical data collected to date, including death certificates, autopsies and medical records, no evidence has been found that would confirm that (New Coronavirus) vaccination would result in patient death.”

Clinical trials reviewed by drug regulators showed that the Pfizer vaccine was 95 percent effective, the Modena vaccine was 94 percent effective and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was 66.9 percent effective in preventing CCA virus infection. Of the three vaccines tested for effectiveness, only the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was tested for vaccine effectiveness after the emergence of a vaccine variant.

According to another study released by the CDC in March, the rate of cases of fainting after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was 164 times higher than that of the flu vaccine. And cases of syncope may be related to anxiety and may also occur immediately after vaccination, according to a federal Health Department investigation at the time.

As of the end of April, more than 100 million people across the United States had been fully vaccinated against the CCP virus. Complete vaccination means two doses of Pfizer or Modena vaccine, or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The current outbreak in the U.S. is slowing down, with 57,922 confirmed cases and 1,038 deaths across the U.S. that day, according to April 30 statistics. The world’s worst country in terms of CCP infection is India, which had more than 400,000 new cases that day on April 30.

Five scientists told Reuters that a scientific advisory panel set up by the Modi government had warned Indian officials in early March that a new, more contagious variant was spreading in India. However, the Indian government failed to immediately control the spread of the virus.
