Giuliani residence was raided after the first appearance to speak out: the FBI’s move is illegal

Giuliani spoke out for the first time on Thursday night, April 29, in response to the FBI’s raid on the home of Rudy Giuliani, former President Trump’s personal attorney, on Wednesday (April 28). He denounced the FBI’s move as illegal, adding, “They’re the ones who should be investigated.”

Giuliani told Fox News Thursday night that FBI agents took 7-8 electronic devices, and 2 others, but not Hunter’s (Biden’s son) hard drive. And ultimately, these will be his “proof of innocence”.

Giuliani’s “Tucker. I’ve known about this for two years, Tucker, and (I knew) they might come and raid it.” He also noted that his iCloud account had been “unconstitutionally” raided in 2019 during his defense of the Trump impeachment case.

He said, “I had 2 years where I could have destroyed the evidence, but I didn’t do it because the evidence was proof of our innocence. It proves that the president and I and all of us are innocent.” He also pointed out that the evidence he has shows that they (FBI) authorities are the ones who are committing the crime, without a doubt.” “The truth is that that FBI search warrant was completely illegal …… The only way you can get a warrant is if you can show that there is some evidence that this person is going to destroy the evidence or is going to flee with it.”

Referring to Wednesday’s experience, Giuliani said, “At 6 a.m. Wednesday, I was awakened by a loud ‘bang’ on the door. There were seven FBI agents at the door with search warrants.” “I read the warrants and said, ‘You know, that’s good, because I’m willing to turn this over to the government, and I’ve been discussing it with them for two years.'”

The FBI has reportedly been investigating whether Giuliani acted as an unregistered foreign agent last year, engaging in illegal actions and trying to influence U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine. Giuliani denies that he broke the law. “How could I be representing Trump’s Ukrainian impeachment defense while lobbying on behalf of Ukrainian citizens?” he said.

“I have never represented Ukrainian nationals or officials. I have turned them down several times. I have contracts in countries/regions such as Ukraine. There is a clause in the contract that says I will not engage in lobbying or representing foreign countries because I don’t think it’s appropriate.” Giuliani added.

Giuliani also mentioned that the Justice Department hacked into his iCloud account back in 2019. “These prosecutors are violating the law …… They should be investigated for blatantly violating my constitutional rights, the president’s (Trump’s) constitutional rights. They hacked into my iCloud without my knowledge, took privileged files, and unilaterally chose what they wanted to read and what they didn’t.”

He denounced the U.S. Department of Justice for spying on him. He said, “This is a disgrace to the Justice Department that I have served with honor. If it is not taken seriously, if they are not sanctioned …… this will no longer be a free country.” He believes that the Justice Department is using tactics in this move that are only found in dictatorships.

Early Thursday, April 29, Trump responded to Giuliani’s ordeal during an appearance on Fox Business’ “Morning with Maria. Trump said, “Rudy. Giuliani is a great patriot. He loves this country, and (the FBI) they searched his apartment. It’s so unfair, it’s like a double standard, I don’t think, that anybody has ever seen.”

Earlier Thursday, President Joe Biden told the media that he had no knowledge of the FBI’s actions against Giuliani and would not interfere with justice.
