Powell: ‘Huge’ brief to be filed Wednesday, Trump will be re-elected

The Washington Examiner (Nov. 24) reported that prominent attorney Sidney Powell said on the Fox Business Channel’s Lou Dobbs show that she will file a brief in federal court Wednesday, before Thanksgiving Eve.

Powell said, “It’s a huge document. The defendants are going to be the people of Georgia who are (supposedly) responsible for making sure that elections in Georgia are conducted properly, and there’s been numerous instances of voter fraud and election fraud in Georgia.”

Powell didn’t name any targets of the lawsuit when she spoke with Dobbs, but over the weekend she said the corruption extends all the way back to Gov. Brian Kemp, who claims state officials took money and were part of the Dominion voting system conspiracy, among other things.

Powell also said Tuesday that she will file a lawsuit elsewhere “as fast as we can roll it out.”

With states certifying their ballots and the Electoral College meeting in mid-December, time is of the essence. But Powell assured Dobbs that she would meet all necessary deadlines. “The evidence is overwhelming, it’s almost as if they’re blatantly expecting us to catch it,” she said.

Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security issued a joint statement with a number of partners and consultants, saying that “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost ballots, changed ballots, or was compromised in any way.” The statement also emphasized that “the November 3 election was the most secure election in U.S. history”.

Later, President Trump fired Chris Krebs, who served as director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Trump later said that this statement was “very inaccurate”. Trump has refused to admit defeat, claiming the election was “rigged,” and is engaging in legal battles and demanding a recount, despite his General Services Administration’s authorization on Monday to begin the transition to Biden.

Powell asserted, “It’s clear that we also had a foreign intrusion into our voting system, and that’s where we’re really going to see the real story.”

When asked if Trump’s presidency could be saved, Powell replied. “Yes, I’m sure it can. There’s no question in my mind that he was elected in an absolute landslide across America.”
