The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), led by Dr. Fauci, funded six separate grants totaling nearly $3.75 million to the Wuhan Virus Institute’s U.S. partner, the EcoHealth Alliance, to “understand the risk of bat coronavirus emergence” in China. In addition to this, National Pulse reported on April 26 that Dr. Fauci also approved two section chiefs from the Institute of Infectious Diseases to attend a conference hosted by Wuhan Virus in 2016.
The coverage of the October 2016 Nature-sponsored conference has been erased from the publication’s website. However, National Pulse has found an archived version of the website that also holds the Wuhan Institute of Virology press release.
The theme of the 2016 meeting was Viral Infection and Immune Response (VIRIRR), which discussed emerging viral diseases, infection, and antiviral immunity, with six subconferences on, respectively, the epidemiology of emerging The six subconferences are, epidemiology of emerging viral disease, persistent viral infection and immune dysregulation, viral pathogenesis, immune intervention and prevention of disease, and prevalence of viral infections. intervention and prevention of disease, innate antiviral immunity, and induction of systemic adaptive immunity. All of these are critical to the response to the CCP virus.
Dr. Fauci, at that time, sent Kanta Subbarao, head of the Emerging Respiratory Viruses Section at the Infectious Diseases Branch, and the NIAID’s Vaccine Research Center The meeting was attended by Kanta Subbarao, chief of the Emerging Respiratory Viruses Section, and Nancy Sullivan, chief of the Biodefense Research Section at the NIAID’s Vaccine Research Center. Sullivan is still working under Forsyth, and Subrao is now the director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza.
The current director of the Chinese CDC, a Communist Party-affiliated institution, and the director of the Wuhan Institute of Virus are among the conference organizers and speakers. The Wuhan Institute has close ties with the CCP, with the Institute having signed a “comprehensive cooperation” agreement with the Wuhan Municipal Government of the CCP, and its researchers having received awards from the Communist Youth League and the State Council of the CCP. The National Pulse also provided a press release from years ago when the Wuhan Virus Institute organized a live viewing of the National Congress of the CPC for its staff, “During the live broadcast, the conference hall was in good order. Everyone was listening carefully to General Secretary Hu Jintao’s work report and taking careful notes. The atmosphere was warm and the applause was higher than one wave.”
Dr. Fauci has been the director of the U.S. National and Infectious Diseases Institute since 1984. Despite telling a plethora of false prophecies and outright lies, Dr. Fauci remains the highest paid employee of the U.S. government, earning nearly $500,000 a year.
