Trump donates $10,000 to help charities find 8 missing crew members

The charity “United States Navy” recently confirmed on Twitter that former U.S. President Donald Trump (Trump) has donated $10,000 to the organization to assist in the search for the eight crew members missing after the “Seacor Power” lift ship capsized. The organization expressed its gratitude to Trump.

On April 13, the “Seacor Power” liftboat capsized off the coast of southern Louisiana because of a storm. After 175 hours of rescue operations, the Coast Guard and a private search and rescue team from the United States Navy saved the lives of six crew members and found the bodies of six crew members in 9,200 nautical miles of water. Eight crew members are still missing.

On April 19, the Coast Guard announced that the search and rescue operation would cease, while the United States Navy continued to organize civilian search and rescue efforts.

“United States Navy” chairman Terrell (Todd Terrell) recently told the media, President Trump donated $10,000 to the charity, the money will be used to organize private search and rescue vessels to continue to find the missing crew.

The organization also tweeted, “We’re bringing home every single crew member of Seacor Power.”

“Christifer DeRouen, an official with the United States Navy, said in a video he posted Sunday, April 25, that he believes some of the missing crew members are still alive. He said, “Every volunteer involved in the search and rescue has experienced so many strange encounters and coincidences that I believe this will bring some special experiences (to the search and rescue) operation.”

According to NBC, the wife of missing crew member Dylan Daspit believes her husband is dead and has filed a lawsuit in Texas against Seacor Power, alleging negligence and violations of the Maritime Act.

Darra Morales, the mother of missing crew member Chaz Morales, appealed for donations to the United States Navy to help in the search for the missing crew member. She denounced the lack of commitment by local officials to solve the problem. The governor hasn’t said anything, the president (Biden) hasn’t said anything,” she said. I think the Navy military should have helped (with the rescue operation).”

The White House, the “United States Navy” organization and Trump’s office did not respond to media requests for comment.

It is reported that Trump has been donating his salary to a government agency during his presidency. He has donated $100,000 to the Department of Homeland Security to build a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, and tens of thousands of dollars to the U.S. Department of Health to address the opioid crisis in the United States. After the outbreak of the Chinese Communist virus (Neocoronavirus), Trump donated another $100,000 to the Department of Health specifically for research on the Chinese Communist virus (COVID-19).
