Latest poll: Biden’s 100-day approval rating fell to the lowest point for a U.S. president after World War II

The Breitbart News reported on April 25 that Democratic President Joe Biden’s approval rating is currently the lowest of any U.S. president since World War II. According to a new Washington Post survey, Biden is nearing the 100-day mark of his official term with a 52 percent approval rating; only 34 percent strongly approve of Biden’s performance as president; on the other hand, 35 percent strongly disapprove of Biden’s performance, bringing the disapproval rate to 42 percent overall.

Gallup’s presidential approval data shows that U.S. post-World War II presidents, with approval ratings ranging from 63%-87% after 100 days, are far more likely than Biden.

In the survey, the public also warned Biden about pursuing a policy agenda. 60 percent said they wanted Biden to try to work with Republicans on Capitol Hill to “make significant changes to his proposals.

Biden campaigned on being a president who would compromise and work with Republicans, but has so far failed completely in that regard during his presidency. His first major legislative package, the $1.9 trillion CCP viral spending plan, was supported only by Democrats, with no Republicans voting for the plan.

Biden is now poised to go a similar route on what he calls, “infrastructure” plans. Although Republicans have proposed and negotiated alternatives, the Biden team has come up with a multi-trillion dollar plan filled with many private goods that do not qualify as infrastructure.
