The Breitbart News reported on April 25 that some Oscar night traditions have not yet been eliminated by the CCP virus, and that celebrities attending Sunday’s Oscars will still win big, with all nominees receiving gift bags containing a variety of luxury items and services worth $205,000 each, for a total value of $5.1 million.
According to the New York Times, these gift bags include, free liposuction (liposuction), designer skin creams, gold-plated cannabis vaporizers (gold-plated cannabis vaporizers), “affirmation candles”, vegan bubble baths, intravenous vitamins (IV vitamin infusions ), French Polynesia vacations, and more.
The gift bags for the 25 acting and directing nominees were provided by Distinctive Assets, an entertainment marketing company. GBK Brand Bar, another company that provides giveaways to Hollywood, provided $60,000 worth of gift bags.
Gift company DPA Group reportedly has vacations and other luxury items to give away at Le Taha’a Island Resort in French Polynesia (French Polynesia).
Companies or brands that offer free gifts are known to appreciate a tweet or instant wire (Instagram) post from celebrities.
Lash Fary, founder of Outstanding Assets, said all of the items in the gift bags come from women-owned businesses, black-owned businesses, and entrepreneurs with disabilities. Fary also cited exclusive access to boutique shops on secluded islands as the best way to avoid the Chinese Communist virus. One of the “most common gifts” in the gift bags is an “emergency hammer” that celebrities can use to break windows if they see a dog in the car on a hot day.
Nominees can refuse these gift bags, and the items are not exactly “free” because the IRS considers them to be income.
