He has not yet visited the U.S.-Mexico border
The relaxation of immigration policies by the former Trump administration after President Biden took office has led to the largest influx of people smuggled into the country in 20 years. The New York Post on Friday (23) criticized Vice President He Jinli for not visiting the U.S.-Mexico border, instead handing out children’s books written by herself to children in refugee centers.
According to the report, some of the children who crossed the border alone were sent to a refugee center in Long Beach, California, where they were given a welcome gift that included a children’s book written by Hejinli and to be published in 2019, which reads, “Whenever there’s trouble, there’s a superhero who shows up just in time. Biden ordered He Jinli to lead the refugee issue, but the past month has not seen her visit the border or hold a press conference on the refugee crisis.
The White House said He is busy on the eve of the Biden administration’s 100th day in office, traveling to many parts of the country to explain the administration’s new policies for state infrastructure projects, and will travel to Baltimore, Maryland, next week. He was in New Hampshire last Friday to promote a $2 trillion ($15.6 trillion) infrastructure plan when people protested and urged her to visit the U.S.-Mexico border.
