Every year on World Earth Day, Starbucks has a limited time event of bringing your own cup of free coffee, and this year is no exception. However, in China, there were consumers who brought buckets of water to fill their coffee.
On the morning of the 22nd, Starbucks’ official microblogging site sent out a number of tweets, previewing the free coffee event from 11:00 to 12:00 that day.
Netizens posted that at noon on the 22nd, people who wanted to drink free coffee flocked to Starbucks to line up, and many netizens showed their various cups and bottles, and there were even people who brought buckets of water to fill their coffee, and the people even wore doll hoods to prevent being recognized.
Some netizens left comments saying, “The one with the bucket is too much,” and others said, “With the hood means still want to be human” and “This big brother is to buy goods?” …….
In addition, there are many people with empty cans, glass bottles, oversized red wine cups, teapots, thermoses and other assorted containers to fill free coffee. But most people brought regular-sized cups that were almost just right to catch a full cup.
According to the rules published by Starbucks, the amount of free coffee is limited to one medium cup of fresh drip coffee per person. In other words, even if you move a bathtub over, you can only receive a 330ml cup of coffee.
