” You’re next.” Because of this brief tweet, NBA star James was scolded by American netizens.
According to Russia Today, James tweeted a photo of Columbus, Ohio, police officer Nicholas Rearden with the above quote and the hashtag “Accountability” on the 21st, local time. The officer, who the day before (20) had shot and killed Kia Bryant, a 15-year-old black girl, said the tweet was from James.
RT says James’ tweet is saying that after the conviction of former white officer Derrick Shawn, who “kneecapped” Black Floyd, Redden is next. Redden is currently off duty on the street and awaiting the results of the investigation.
Now, radicals have cited the death of Bryant, a black girl, as the latest example of police brutality against African-Americans in the United States, the report said. But critics say Bryant was wielding a pocket knife at the scene of the incident on the 20th. She also rushed toward another person with the knife in her hand before being shot, according to footage captured by police body cameras.

” Without the results of the investigation, James seemed confident in Redden’s guilt. Yet he is not confident enough to keep his tweets.” The media wrote, with slight irony, that James quickly deleted the tweet after numerous critics accused him of threatening to incite violence against the officers before all the facts were known.
On Twitter, criticism continued to pour in, despite being defended by ” James Honey” (James fans). Some say the NBA should fine James thousands of dollars per minute for as long as the tweet has existed. Others have asked the NBA Lakers to ” ban ” James.

“The NBA needs to do something about this …… The Lakers should ban James indefinitely.”
One media source said sarcastically, ” I had to watch it three times to make sure that LeBron James tweet was true. We’re in a dangerous situation, America.” ↓
U.S. Senator Cotton also criticized, writing, “LeBron James is inciting an act of violence against an Ohio police officer. Is this allowed by the NBA? Or does the Twitter platform allow it?” ↓

After the controversy, James responded with a new tweet on the evening of 21 local time explaining, ” I hate to see black people killed by police. I deleted that tweet because it was being used to create more hate. It’s not about one officer, it’s about the whole (police) system. They always use our words to create more racism.” He also wrote: ” I’m still haunted by what happened to that little girl. My sympathy goes out to her family.”
However, netizens seemed to get even angrier, posting moments in the comments section when Bryant, a 15-year-old black girl, pointed a knife at another girl.
” Imagine if the girl in the pink dress was your daughter. What would you want this cop to do?”
