After nearly three weeks of the much-anticipated U.S. election dispute that began on Nov. 3, Trump’s team is firing on all cylinders in several battleground states and says it will soon unveil more evidence that has reached a “tsunami,” as Trump’s lawyer Powell put it.
A new election lawsuit is scheduled to be filed in Georgia on Monday or early Tuesday, and it will be “shocking,” according to Jordan Sekulow, a Trump campaign lawyer.
Another Trump attorney, attorney Lin Wood, has filed an emergency injunction last week to enjoin Georgia from certifying the election results, saying, “Georgia is a den of corruption. the election and recount on November 3 was fraudulent. The courts must intervene to stop them from stealing ballots and elections.”
Meanwhile, the Amistad Project, a national conservative legal organization of the Thomas More Society, announced Friday (Nov. 20) that it will file lawsuits in state and federal district courts in six states challenging the election results in those states. In addition, conservative Supreme Court justices will split their time between four key swing states, each holding one side of the aisle.
On Saturday, the Michigan Republican Party said it was urging state election officials to delay certifying results for two weeks in order to conduct a “full audit and investigation” of Wayne County’s election results in light of questions about “numerical anomalies” in the county’s vote count and voting process irregularities.
Federal Election Commission Chairman Trey Trainor said the Trump campaign is bringing “legitimate allegations” to court through sworn testimony from credible witnesses, as well as other evidence used in challenging state results.
Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell wrote on Saturday that he believes the current U.S. election is “the biggest election heist in U.S. history,” and that large tech oligopolies, the radical left, and government officials are working in concert to plan and execute a rigorous theft plan.
The following is a live update on the US election situation.
