U.S. Supreme Court Announces New Circuit Court Division

“Gateway Pundit” reported on November 20 that the U.S. Supreme Court announced new circuit court divisions for the justices on Friday.

The good news? Conservative Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Samuel Alito, Amy Coney Barrett, and Clarence Thomas were all assigned to Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin and Michigan and other key general election battleground states.

Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 42, it is ordered that the Chief Justice and the Associate Justices of this Court be divided among the circuits as follows, and that such division be entered into the record, effective November 20, 2020.

District of Columbia Circuit – John G. Roberts, Chief Justice.

First Circuit – Stephen C. Breyer, Chief Justice (Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island).

Second Circuit – Sonia Sotomayor, Chancellor (Connecticut, New York, Vermont).

Third Circuit – Samuel Alito, Chancellor, (Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virgin Islands).

Fourth Circuit – John Roberts, Chief Justice, (Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia).

Fifth Circuit – Samuel A. Alito, Chief Justice (Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas).

Sixth Circuit – Chancellor Brett Kavanaugh (Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee).

Seventh Circuit – Justice Amy Connie Barrett (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin).

Eighth Circuit – Chancellor Brett Kavanaugh (Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota).

Ninth Circuit – Chancellor Elena Kagan (Alaska, Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Northern Mariana Islands, Washington).

Tenth Circuit – Chancellor Neil Gossage (Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming).

Eleventh Circuit – Chancellor Clarence Thomas (Alabama, Florida, Georgia).

Federal Circuit – John Roberts, Chief Justice.
