A teacher at a private parochial school in Manhattan, New York, released an audio recording on Tuesday to support his claim that the school was being created as a place for leftist indoctrination. The audio recording shows the school director admitting that he “demonizes white people.
The Grace Church School, a $57,000-a-year school in NoHo that offers middle school through 12th grade, reported in mid-March that the school’s new guidelines recommend using “guardians” instead of “parents. As reported in mid-March, the school’s new guidelines recommend using “guardian” instead of “mom and dad” and “Merry Christmas” as a “non-inclusive” sensitive word. “Grace later clarified on its website that the guidelines are aimed at faculty and staff, not students.
Tuesday’s audio, released by the Foundation Against Intolerance & Racism (FAIR), features “Grace School of Education” It features a conversation between Paul Rossi, a math teacher, and George Davison, the school’s director. In the conversation, Davison appears to acknowledge Rossi’s (now expelled) allegation that the school is teaching white students that they are “inherently evil.
Students being indoctrinated to blow the whistle: I’m upset

According to FAIR’s website (www.fairforall.org), Rossi became a whistle blower after former New York Times writer Bari Weiss published an article on her Substack blog last Tuesday. In this post, Rossi describes his inner motivation for becoming a whistle blower: “Kids are afraid to challenge the repressive ideology that rules our schools, and I couldn’t stand by while my students were being indoctrinated.”
“My school, like many others, induces students through shame and sophistry to identify their race first, before their personalities (personalities) are formed. All of this is done in the name of ‘fairness,’ but in reality is the opposite of fairness.”
In the article, Rossi says that in an effort to unify the students, Grace instructed teachers to keep all doubts about the “anti-racism training” teaching framework internal. Any students who questioned it were similarly “challenged” to reconstruct their views in order to be consistent. There are even emails suggesting that teachers formally red-flag students who show “resistance” to “the culture we are trying to build. He witnessed the harmful effects on children and could not remain silent.

“Two days after the April 13 article was published online, school director Davidson told Rossi not to return to the school next week, reportedly for his own safety, according to the Post.
On Sunday, April 18, the head of the school sent a letter to all staff members strongly responding to Rossi’s “diminished professionalism” and asserting that his article “contains glaring omissions and inaccuracies. The letter stated that Rossi had been “relieved of his teaching responsibilities” and that he would no longer be welcome in the building “without prior coordination.
On Monday, April 19, Rossi posted a letter online in response to school administrator Davidson saying that talking publicly was not his first option. He has made his concerns about the impact of this doctrinal ideology (critical of racism) on students clear to the school administration several times over the past few years. But even his attempts to expose students to alternative views in the classroom have been repeatedly blocked (shut down). The school was so responsive to these internal efforts of his that it finally had to spread the word.
Recordings revealed
Rossi said that others would inevitably be shocked to see him pay such a price for expressing his views publicly, and that he would have to share the content of previous conversations between the two sides in order to support those who were silent.
According to a report in the Post on April 19, Davidson responded to Rossi by saying, “You misquote me and attribute to me things I never said or would never say in the press.”
On Tuesday, April 20, FAIR released a recording of a March 2 conversation between Rossi and the head of Grace School, confirming Rossi’s words. In the released recording, Rossi told Davidson, “Every year a teacher or authority figure tells you endlessly that because you are fair-skinned, you are connected to evil, all kinds of evil… that’s the problem.”
Davidson replied, “I agree with you that we need to demonize to solve the problem in a way that people understand.” “We demonize children, we demonize the birth of white people.”
Rossi continued, “Some of our students are white, right? Okay, so we’re demonizing white kids. Why don’t you say that?”
Davidson replied, “The language we use makes [white kids] less suspicious and doesn’t require them to take personal responsibility.”
The newspaper reached out to the school for comment on April 22, but did not receive a response by press time.
