Only 3 teams are left in the European Super League

After the six teams of the English Premier League withdrew from the “European Super League”, three more strong teams of La Liga and Yiga followed today, which means that the plan to form another super league in the powerful countries of Europe is dead. Many fans are very dissatisfied with this plan.

Due to the strong backlash from fans, officials and politicians, the six English Super League teams were the first to quit yesterday, just 48 hours after the announcement of the European Super League (ESL).

These six teams are Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

La Liga powerhouse Atletico Madrid (Atletico Madrid), the traditional powerhouse Inter Milan and AC Milan (AC Milan) also announced their withdrawal today, making the original launch of the European Super League “Dirty 12”, only three teams remain in support. They are the La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona and Juventus, the famous team of Serie A.

A statement from Atletico Madrid said, “For the club, harmony between all the groups that make up the Red and White (rojiblanco, nickname of Atletico Madrid) family is essential, especially our fans.”

AC Milan released a statement stating, “With regard to the UEFA Super League, fans around the world have spoken out and expressed their concerns, and AC Milan must be cautious about the voices of those who love this wonderful sporting event.”

Juventus boss Andrea Agnelli’s close confidant admitted that it was an impossible task to push the European Super League without the Premier League powerhouse.

The plan to set up the European Super League has shocked all walks of life, and the political and soccer authorities are even threatening to take legal action against what they call the “Dirty Dozen”, so that the 12 teams may face the possibility of being banned from their own national leagues and even from playing in Europe.
