The Daily Caller reported Tuesday, April 20, that President Trump was interviewed by Fox News personality Hannity at his Sea Lake estate Monday night, and the former president blasted the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (FDA), saying the agency was protecting Pfizer by choosing, among other things, to stop Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.
Trump told Hannity that the FDA ‘hates’ him because Trump told the FDA to quickly approve a vaccine for the Chinese Communist virus, and that Pfizer was upset that Trump was undercutting the price of the drug.
Trump said that “Pfizer is in cahoots with the FDA” and claimed that the FDA deliberately blocked Johnson & Johnson’s vaccination program in order to boost demand for Pfizer’s vaccine.
Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine for the Chinese Communist virus, which was challenged by the FDA last week, reportedly killed six of the 6.8 million people who received the vaccine, including a Virginia woman who reported a blood clot as a result.
For his part, Trump argued that the decision by the FDA and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) to issue a warning against Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine was ‘very foolish’. Trump revealed that “the FDA and Pfizer are close and Pfizer doesn’t like me because I moved their interests on prescription drugs.”
Trump told Hannity, “I’m going to tell you something. I think what they did to Johnson & Johnson was very suspicious. Because the only people who are happy about Johnson & Johnson vaccines being out are Pfizer and Moderna (Moderna).”
