The National Archives reported Monday, April 17, that Apple revealed in a letter to Republican Sen. Mike Lee and Rep. Ken Buck that Parler, which was kicked out of the Apple App Store after a mostly peaceful protest on Capitol Hill on Jan. 6, was back on the Apple App Store on April 14.
Apple said they and the Parler team have had “substantial conversations” and that Parler has proposed “updated Parler content review practices” that are sufficient to bring it back to the Apple App Store.
It’s unclear exactly what these new practices include, but according to Parler’s guidelines enforcement process, released on February 23, “trolling” filters will be used to detect “personal attacks” based on race, gender, sexual orientation or religion.
John Matze, Parler’s co-founder and first CEO, was also fired after Parler went offline. The new interim chief executive, Mark Meckler, is now in charge of the Convention of States Project, which could allow Soros to rewrite the U.S. Constitution, according to the National Archives.
