Child abuse cases in kindergartens are frequently reported in mainland China. Recently a 4-year-old boy in Wuhan was hospitalized for surgery for a serious genital injury. The boy has been telling his parents that the “monster teacher” used scissors to cut him, but officials say the boy was injured while playing. The parents accused the official story of being dubious and asked netizens to repost it to expose the kindergarten’s misdeeds.
On April 16, microblogger “@Xiao Xi Yan Er” reported that on March 30, her 4-year-old son was seriously injured in his genitals while attending the Wuhan Boyuan Olympic Kindergarten. When he was sent to the hospital after the incident, the hospital called the parents and said that the child was “accidentally injured while playing with the slide”. But afterwards the child kept saying that the “monster teacher” (class teacher) “cut my penis” with scissors that cut colorful paper.
The parents said they were shocked to see the attending doctor turn the child’s foreskin over when “blood was dripping”.
The parents also said that the park said it was “injured while playing slide”, but the child’s thighs on both sides without any scratches and injuries, only the genitals seriously injured, suspicious. Therefore, the parents asked for help to forward the message to expose the school’s malicious injury, to seek justice for the child.
The circle of friends of the parents on the net is also accompanied by several pictures of the boy’s wounds, as well as videos of the treatment process in the hospital. The images are heart-wrenching. There is also a video showing that when the mother asks the cause of the injury, the child clearly answers that the teacher cut the injury.

According to land media reports, the diagnosis issued by Wuhan Women and Children’s Health Center shows that the boy was diagnosed with penile contusion (foreskin tethering contusion) and a broken tether visible in the genital externalization.
The kindergarten teacher told the land media that the 4-year-old child may not lie, but the teacher “cut the penis with scissors” is likely to be the boy’s “intermittent thinking” generated by the “imagination”. However, the child’s parents do not agree with the garden, the child has been saying for more than half a month is “monster teacher cut”, never change the story.
The night of the 16th, local officials on the “public opinion” quickly reacted. Wuhan East and West Lake District Education Bureau issued a notice that, after investigation, the garden monitoring did not find the teacher hurt students, the local public security has also ruled out criminal cases.
