Asian New York mayoral candidate Anze Yang was blown away by black women at a Black Lives Matter protest

The National Archives reported Wednesday that video footage from Brooklyn, New York, shows former Democratic presidential candidate and New York mayoral candidate Andrew Yang being booed out of a Black Lives Matter protest by angry women who shouted “We don’t want you here” and “Shame, shame, shame!”

In a video shot by local media organization FreedomNewsTV, Anze Yang is seen wearing a helmet, riding a bicycle and wearing business attire to the protest in solidarity with the wrongful death of Wright, a 20-year-old black man resisting arrest. Although protesters allowed Anze Yang to ride his bike with them across town, the collective mood quickly soured as they reached the vigil.

One female protester shouted over a loudspeaker at Yang Anze, “We don’t want you here! We don’t want you here, you’re not welcome here!” .

Another female activist grabbed the megaphone and yelled even louder, “We don’t want you here, get out! Shhh, Yang Anze you are so shameless. Shame, shame, shame, shame!”

Young Anzai tweeted his strong solidarity with “Black Lives Matter” but received backlash from far-left activists for not supporting “police funding cuts. In recent months, there has been a surge in hostility toward the Asian community from the black community, particularly in New York City, where Asian Americans have been repeatedly subjected to racial slurs and physical attacks.
