Iran accused Israel of attacking a nuclear facility on the 12th, and on the 13th an Israeli company’s merchant ship was attacked by an Iranian missile off the United Arab Emirates, but fortunately there were no casualties and the ship continued its voyage.
Israel’s Channel 12 TV quoted unnamed Israeli officials as saying that the attack was launched by arch-rival Iran.
Reuters, citing two maritime security sources, reported that an Israeli ship was attacked and exploded near the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, but no one was killed. But the news was not confirmed by the relevant Israeli units.
While Tehran authorities have accused Israel of attacking nuclear facilities, Iran and the United States have begun indirect talks in Vienna to revive the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and the powers.
