The Pentagon has admitted that a U.S. Navy destroyer did photograph a mysterious “spherical” and “pyramidal” glowing object at night, raising suspicions that it was a UFO from an alien planet.
According to The Sun, the video (link to report) was collected by the U.S. Navy’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force (UAPTF) and leaked separately to the documentary Bob Lazar: Area 51 and the UFOs” to Jeremy Corbell, producer of the documentary, and George Knapp, news director of KLAS TV in Las Vegas.
Corbell told The Sun that he verified the authenticity of the shocking video after receiving information from a Pentagon intelligence briefing. Pentagon officials confirmed that the video was shot by the U.S. Navy, but did not comment on the content of the filming.
The 18-second video, allegedly recorded by personnel aboard the USS Russell, shows three faint spherical bright spots hovering above the warship, followed by a glowing pyramid-shaped flying object.
On Ig, Korbel also shared three images of the unidentified “spherical” craft captured by the USS Omaha.
Kobel said, “Notably, the ‘spherical’ craft is suspected to be a trans-media vehicle, which was observed to be undamaged after diving into the water.”
He added that the spherical craft disappeared shortly after diving into the water and remained missing despite the Navy’s search using submarines.
The incident was discussed during a classified briefing on the unidentified craft by the Office of Naval Intelligence on May 1, 2020.
“George Knapp and I were able to verify the materials you are considering reporting,” Kobel told The Sun, “and I can confirm their authenticity and the narrative that was given to me when (the military) provided them.”
The Sun said Kobel also received information about a March 4, 2019, sighting in which the witnesses, pilots and weapons operators of FA-18s, spotted the mysterious object in the sky and took photos using their personal cell phones.
“These are actual photographs and videos of encounters with UFOs in the midst of actual military exercises, and the purpose (of the briefing) is to inform our military’s senior intelligence personnel about the nature and manifestations of UFOs,” Kobel said, adding, “These materials, I hope, represent a unique moment in modern history. A possible turning point in the investigation and exploration of the mystery of the UFO phenomenon in a rational, transparent manner.”
Pentagon spokeswoman Susan Gough told The Sun, “I can confirm that these photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel. the UAPTF has included these events in their ongoing investigation.”
“As we have stated previously, in order to maintain operational security and avoid disclosing information that could be useful to potential adversaries, for training sites or designated airspace, DoD does not publicly discuss details of intrusions we observe or discover, including those initially identified as ‘unidentified flying phenomena’ (UAP) incursions.” She added.
Last month, newly released information noted that within a few days in July 2019 the USS Kidd, the destroyer USS Rafael Peralta and the “The destroyers USS John Finn also had flying objects buzzing overhead while sailing off the California coast.
The incident prompted investigations by the Navy, Coast Guard, FBI and other agencies, but remains a mystery.
In a report last month, a former national intelligence official said a forthcoming government report will reveal “unexplained” evidence surrounding UFO sightings, including that they have suddenly accelerated through the sound barrier without a sonic boom.
