The Communist Party of China (CPC) has begun to enforce the “learning of Party history” and has recently asked people to report anti-Party statements to each other, while an internal document from the CPC Party School has recently come to light, revealing a cover-up by the CPC. Some people and scholars say that the CCP’s creation of red terror means it is extremely fearful and its regime is in danger.
According to an April 9 message from the CPC Central Committee’s Information Reporting Center, reports of “historical nihilist speech” can be made through a telephone reporting hotline or through the “harmful information involving historical nihilism” reporting area on the official website and app of the Information Reporting Center.
According to the CCP’s propaganda, the content of “historical nihilist speech” includes: distorting the history of the CCP, the history of New China, the history of reform and opening up and the history of socialist development; attacking the leadership, guiding ideology and policies of the CCP; denigrating heroes and martyrs; and denying the excellent Chinese traditional culture, revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture.
For several months, the CCP has been asking various industries to “learn the history of the Party,” according to the official CCP media People’s Daily Online, “to learn the history of the Party in depth and thoroughly,” and the study material is “A Brief History of the Communist Party of China.
AFP cited an analysis on April 12 that the history of the Cultural Revolution has been watered down in “A Brief History of the Communist Party of China” and is no longer a separate chapter, and that Xi Jinping attaches importance to education on the history of the Communist Party because he fears the Communist Party will repeat the mistakes of the fall of the Soviet Union.

Internal Communist Party documents expose the truth
On the same day that the CCP’s Internet Information Office released the news about the “reporting hotline,” the China Digital Space website revealed an internal CCP meeting record – a July 24, 2010 “Seminar on Xi Jinping’s Speech at the Party History Department of the Central Party School. Minutes of the July 24, 2010 “Seminar on Xi Jinping’s Speech”. At the time, Xi was president of the Party School and vice president of the Communist Party. The minutes show that people inside the CCP Party School said, “Some historical materials in Party history just can’t be disclosed to the people.”
According to the minutes, the moderator of that meeting began by saying, “This year, we have had some confusion over how to approach the issue of CPC Party history, with the main questions being whether to make clear some controversial matters in our Party’s history, how to evaluate controversial issues, whether to speak about them in teaching, whether to reveal them to the community, whether to publish them, whether to allow our instructors access to confidential archival materials, whether to allow interviews with the parties, whether it can be used as a scientific research topic, whether it counts as a scientific research result, whether it is linked to one’s title treatment, etc.”
The moderator went on to say, “I see that President Xi’s speech has basically solved all these problems …… we have to do whatever is detrimental to the glorious image of our party resolutely do not want, resolutely do not say, resolutely do not write, resolutely do not do.”
