Kurokawa Murkowski’s Senate challenger is a distant second Although McConnell endorsed Murkowski

The Gateway Pundit reported Friday that the Senate Leadership Fund, a longtime supporter of Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), announced its endorsement of Lisa Murkowski for re-election next year. The news is not surprising; McConnell and the Republican establishment simply don’t care about Republican voters.

Republicans need people who can fight, not people like Murkowski, who sit on their asses on the Democratic side of the aisle. Murkowski, a U.S. senator representing Alaska, is now on Trump’s radar. Trump has said this year that he will definitely go to Alaska to canvass for Murkowski’s running mate when the Republican primary is held in Alaska.

Murkowski’s opponent emerged on March 29 when former Alaska Department of Administration Commissioner Kelly Tshibaka announced that day that she would challenge Murkowski in the 2022 primary as the Republican candidate for Alaska’s next U.S. Senate seat.

According to a poll released April 5, Chibaka, a Republican, leads Sen. Murkowski by 15 percentage points, or 33.6 percent, in the state’s Senate race, with Murkowski at just 18.8 percent.

The survey, conducted by Cygnal Polling, found that Murkowski’s polling has plummeted since she voted to impeach President Trump in February, with voters largely disapproving of Murkowski’s decades-long Senate career.

Alaskans feel hurt, betrayed and forgotten by Murkowski,” Chibaka told Breitbart News. Murkowski has voted in the Democratic camp; she has not stood up to the radical Biden administration to kill oil and gas jobs; Murkowski voted to allow illegal immigrants into the United States; voted against Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court; Murkowski is still the deciding vote to keep Obamacare, which means higher health care costs and fewer health care options for us Alaskans . Alaska’s health care costs are now the highest in the nation.”

The Gateway Pundit writes that Murkowski had already been harshly condemned by Alaska’s Republican Party after he voted to impeach President Trump in February of this year. It’s really time for hard-core conservatives in Alaska to be represented by the weak, wavering Republican Murkowski, and it’s really time to get Murkowski out of office. Yet it’s a shame that McConnell and the Republican Leadership Fund, still support Murkowski.
