According to the list of participants released by the White House, the world’s major wafer fabricators, including TSMC (TSMC), Samsung Electronics, NXP Semiconductors (NXP) headquartered in the Netherlands; semiconductor manufacturers headquartered in the United States, including Global Foundries (also known as Grosvenor), Intel (Intel) and Sky Water Technology will participate.

The U.S. side includes Hewlett-Packard, General Motors, Ford Motor, automotive group Stellantis, truck manufacturer PACCAR, automotive parts supplier Piston Group, diesel engine developer Cummins, telecom operator AT&T, Google Inc. parent company Alphabet, and medical device company Medtronic. The White House said the CEO’s meeting was a good one.

The White House said the summit of corporate executives will discuss U.S. jobs programs and steps to strengthen the resilience of the U.S. supply chain in semiconductors and other key sectors.
