In a statement, Mr. Trump argued that Gov. Hutchinson’s career in Arkansas is over, The National Archives reported Thursday. In a statement released Thursday through the Save America political action committee, Mr. Trump said, “”Asa Hutchinson, the lightweight RINO governor of Arkansas, just vetoed a bill that would have banned chemical castration of children. So long, Asa. It’s the end of him!”
After being banned from Twitter, Mr. Trump is now using email to send out statements through the Save America political action committee and the 45th President’s Office.’ RINO’ means ‘Republican in Name Only’.
In the statement Mr. Trump endorsed his former press secretary, Sarah Sanders. Mr. Trump wrote, “Fortunately for the great state of Arkansas, Sarah Sanders will do a great job as the next governor!” Sanders officially announced on Jan. 25, 2021, that she will run for Arkansas’ next governor in the November 2022 election. Current Gov. Hutchinson is in his second term, and Arkansas has a two-term limit for governors.
The Daily Mail reports that Hutchinson’s attempt to veto the Arkansas Save Our Youth Experiment Act ended in failure when the Arkansas House of Representatives upheld public opinion and voted 71-24 on Tuesday to override Governor Hutchinson’s veto of the bill, followed shortly thereafter by a 25-8 vote in the Arkansas Senate to override Hutchinson’s veto.
The passage of the Arkansas Save Our Youth Experiment Act means that Arkansas is the first state to prohibit doctors from providing certain treatments to transgender minors, such as irreversible hormone therapy, which may delay, block or in some cases stop puberty. Similar legislation is currently being considered in at least 16 states in addition to Arkansas.
The bill would become law 90 days after the legislative session adjourns, which is currently scheduled for April 30.
Left-wing activists appeared shocked by the news Tuesday, with several expressing the final hope that the Arkansas Save Our Youth Experiment Act bill, would somehow be overturned by a judge, though that seems unlikely.
Trump also issued another statement Thursday from his Save America PAC endorsing Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) for re-election. In the statement, Trump said of Paul: ‘He fought the Washington swamp, radical left-liberals and especially the destructive fake Republicans in Congress. Trump continued, ‘Rand will continue to support our great “America First” policy because he believes in the need to stop wasteful spending, defend our Second Amendment rights, and take care of our troops and our veterans. I fully support his next term in the U.S. Senate. ”
