The arrested suspect is Jing Yixin, 38, of Monterey Park. He was arrested by the Mexican Border Investigation Team on June 6.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Jing Yixin is the husband of the 36-year-old female victim, LingLing Wang. The male victim of the shooting was Zhaiming Li, 37, of Pomona.
The shooting occurred at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of May 5 at a barbecue restaurant in the 500 block of West Grand Street.
According to the medical examiner, both victims were shot multiple times in the upper body and died at the scene.
