“If attacked by the Chinese Communist Party, Taiwan will fight to the end”, Taiwan’s foreign minister said in a shocking voice!

A senior Taiwanese official says Taiwan will fight to the end if attacked by the Chinese Communist Party. A day earlier, the Communist Party’s military announced that practice activities by Communist Party aircraft carrier formations in the waters around Taiwan would become a regular occurrence.

Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Wu Chiu-sup said during a meeting with foreign media at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (April 7, 2021), “We have the will to defend ourselves, there is no doubt about that. If there is a need to fight a war, we will fight a war. If there is a need to defend ourselves to the last day, we will defend ourselves to the last day.”

Wu said Taiwan will increase military spending and is determined to strengthen its military capabilities. He said, “It is our responsibility to defend Taiwan. We will do everything we can to improve our defense capabilities.”

The Taiwanese foreign minister added that U.S. policymakers “clearly see the danger of a possible attack on Taiwan by the Chinese (communist) state.”

Admiral Davidson, the outgoing commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, told Congress in March that the Chinese Communist Party could attack Taiwan within the next six years. Admiral Aquilino, the Pacific Fleet commander appointed to replace him, also said the threat of a Chinese Communist Party forceful attack on Taiwan is imminent and great.

A spokesman for the navy said on Monday that the Liaoning carrier formation’s training in the waters around Taiwan was a routine training program organized by the navy, but also declared that the Chinese navy would organize similar exercises and training activities on a regular basis as planned.
