Mrs. Liu said that on Easter 4, a family of three to the mall shopping, around 5 p.m., Mr. Liu in a clothing store ready to check out, Mrs. Liu was not standing with Mr. Liu, with his daughter in the adjacent dressing room. When Mr. Liu was finishing his phone call with his cell phone at the checkout, a young African-American man wearing a green T-shirt came up to talk to him.
Since Mr. Liu’s English was not good, he was unable to communicate with the other party. When Mrs. Liu saw this, she found the young man saying, “Stop walking around me. Mrs. Liu felt that the man’s attitude was unfriendly, so she told Mr. Liu that she wanted him to ignore the man. To her surprise, the man became even more aggressive and took off his mask and laughed at Mr. Liu, saying that he did not understand English.
The corner of Mr. Liu’s mouth was broken and a tooth was knocked out.
Then another African-American man in a white T-shirt approached, believed to be the brother of the man who made the remark, and elbowed Mrs. Liu in the chest, who felt offended and crossed her arms over her chest in self-defense. At this point, the green T-shirt man swung a punch at Mr. Liu, Mrs. Liu saw the situation and wanted to persuade the fight, but did not expect the man in the white T to follow up and beat Mr. Liu, pulling the fight in Mrs. Liu also received a punch.
The two men then left the scene, Mr. Liu was furious, hoping to catch them to the police, so followed in the back. Mrs. Liu rushed to call 911 to report the incident, but the two African-American men struck again in front of another store. Mrs. Liu received three to four punches to the face, when the left side of her face was unconscious, her left eye was bloodshot, and her chin, back, waist, buttocks and little toe of her foot were bruised and injured to varying degrees. The police arrived at the scene before the two African-American men had fled, and the kind-hearted clerk of the store next to them let the Liu family take refuge in the store and provided snacks and water to calm their daughter. The police took the couple to a nearby hospital for treatment, and made a statement and took photos of their injuries for evidence.
They stayed at the hospital until 8 p.m., when they learned that police had arrested the suspect in the green T-shirt based on witnesses at the scene and after a preliminary investigation, and they went to the police station to identify him. 5 a.m. Ontario police also arrested the man in white, who was also identified by the Liu couple.
Mr. Liu said he only felt that he and his family were bullied at the time and could not be beaten up for no reason, and was bent on catching the two suspects. Now think about it are afraid, because in case they carry a murder weapon, he dared not imagine the consequences. He is grateful for the help they provided during the crime, and the passers-by and shopkeepers who lent a helping hand.

Mr. Liu mentioned that he did not expect this to happen to him. Perhaps the other party saw that he was a small, thin Asian and did not speak English well, so he was rude and punched and kicked.
During the beating, a kind-hearted passerby tried to pull the suspect away, but unfortunately he was beaten. He was glad that the case happened in a downtown area so that the police could catch the suspect quickly.
