All-Star game moved out of Atlanta, Obama called it a good thing, the network sprayed

The Breitbart News reports that Obama took to Twitter and weighed in on Major League Baseball’s move of the All-Star Game out of Atlanta. It sparked an online debate.

Major League Baseball (MLB) announced it was moving the All-Star Game out of Atlanta after the Georgia legislature passed legislation to do so, and on Saturday, Obama tweeted his congratulations.

Obama tweeted, “Congratulations to Major League Baseball (MLB) for taking a stand on behalf of the voting rights of all citizens. There is no better way for American recreation to honor the great Hank Aaron, who always led by example.”

Major League Baseball decided to move the game out of Atlanta after the Georgia Legislature passed legislation aimed at strengthening the integrity of elections.

They issued a press release Friday announcing the move. They have not yet determined where they intend to move.

Obama’s statement has sparked a buzz on the Internet, with more than 5,000 comments on Breitbart News’ alone.

Some users questioned Obama’s past elections, while others said “Obummer ‘Mao’ is more accurate. He’s a good communist.” Others said, “This is his third term.” In short, not many people seem to appreciate this statement of Obama.
