Russian court imposes 8.9 million rubles fine on Twitter: 3 violations in total

A court in Moscow, Russia, ruled on March 2 that social media Twitter was guilty of three violations of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation and fined it a total of 8.9 million rubles (about $116,000). The decision was made by the court in the Tagan district of Moscow in response to the filing of three violations by the Russian Federal Service for Monitoring Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Media on March 10.
