Fate is simply each person’s own choice

01

This movie review is not intended to be a plot line.

Aside from the super-combustible phrase “my fate is not up to me”, what touched me the most was the responsibility of being a parent.

The Magic Pill and the Spirit Pearl were originally different qualifications, but in the final fight, Ne Zha said to Ao Bing.

“Whether you are a spirit pearl or not, I a magic pill can live a more decent life than you, do you dare to pander any more?” But there is a great contrast.

Only love can shake the inversion of nature.

02

Li Jing and his wife, needless to say, were righteous and dared to take responsibility.

He also tried his best to remedy the situation by accepting disciples.

He gave up a few hundred years of cultivation at the last moment to save Nezha and Ao Bing’s souls from destruction.

Shen Gongbao, on the other hand, was able to steal the pearls from the Dragon King for personal gain.

No one can guarantee that everything will be smooth sailing in one’s life.

If this little loss of fame and fortune could make him resentful and betray his master, it is hard to imagine that he would be able to take on heavy responsibilities in the future without going astray.

This may also be the reason why the First Emperor did not use him, and not just because of his origin as he understood it.

So when Ao C lost the battle, his first reaction was to run away and tell his older brother that he would fight again another day.

For Nezha, the belief planted in his heart by his parents that he was the reincarnation of a spirit pearl was true, but the love and happiness he felt was true even though the lie was later exposed.

And when he realized that Li Jing was willing to trade his life for a life, he was willing to die with him if that didn’t work.

This was the original motivation for him to change his life against the sky.

03

When I was talking to my aunt earlier, she told me about a friend who had a billion dollars in assets and whose only son had jumped to his death because of a breakup.

The aunt said she wanted to give her child lots of love and companionship, so that even if he encountered setbacks in the future, he wouldn’t be disillusioned.

At least, there was a hot meal at home worth keeping for him.

Raising a child is just a matter of having food to eat, clothes to wear, and even a beautiful home to live in.

What is hard is to really take responsibility for his upbringing.

Guiding him to find the meaning of life, so that he can be himself without turning back.

This may be a difficult process, but the parents’ efforts behind the scenes are much greater.

They even sacrifice for him and stand by him against natural disasters.

Instead of just locking him up in a painting and giving him superficial pleasures, they have long since put their own interests aside.

In fact, they have already put their own interests aside.

04

I’ve also seen a view before that Ao C is like the Phoenix Man, the hope of the whole clan in one. The armor of the Ten Thousand Dragons is both a helper and a shackle.

I do think that Ao C is a reincarnation of a spiritual pearl, and it is true that he was born with divine power, but he is also pure in nature.

Although he was diligent and hardworking in his daily homework, he did not experience the pain of his clan members who had to suppress demon beasts in ancient times and were locked in the deep sea.

He had no real anger or hatred, and even no real self-awareness, so he could not bear this heavy responsibility.

The king of Yue was able to lie in bed for ten years because he watched his country being overthrown.

The pain was so great that he could not eat, could not sleep, and only by regaining his country could he rest assured that he could do whatever it took.

Ao C’s motivation to strive for success only came from the high expectations of his people, but it had no foundation. What’s more, it is not known how much love there is in this high expectation.

His father, his master, was thinking of revitalizing the Dragon Clan with one thought in his heart. Ao C is only one of the pawns.

He is the Pearl of the Spirit, so he is indispensable. But the real Ao C, his thoughts, and his happiness are the things that no one cares about the most.

05

The biggest downside to using your child as a bargaining chip is that his mind is uncontrollable.

You don’t know what he will encounter, what he will experience, and what kind of mind he will have.

So when Ao C met Nezha, he decided to choose between his clan and his friends.

It’s not that choosing friends or family is politically correct.

Rather, it is that Ao C has no independent judgment at all, and he hesitates and wavers all the time.

He hesitated and wavered, even though his decision concerned the fate of all the people of Chen Tang Village and the entire Dragon Clan. He simply could not afford the consequences.

It was not a good decision to carry the hopes of the whole clan on one untrained shoulder.

If he succeeds, the child will be wiped out of his sense of self and will live only for the tribe.

If it doesn’t work, the chance the dragon tribe has been waiting for a thousand years may be doomed.

Don’t put your hope in others.

From the perspective of the Dragon Clan, if you want to change your fate, you should probably work hard on the right path and set a good example.

Perhaps, Ao C will take the initiative to realize his own innate divine power, and what his father could not do, he can do.

The responsibility that he takes the initiative to carry will no longer be a shackle, but a real helper.

06

Like in Galaxy Cram School, Deng Chao did for his son.

He didn’t do it to save his own face, he didn’t do it to make his son famous.

He always insisted that he had to build his own bridges, and never counted on anyone else.

Cultivating his son’s success is only out of fatherly responsibility.

When the child breaks out of the ground and spreads his branches, give him space and support a sky for him.

Before your child becomes independent, guide him to find his own meaning in life and show him what is really important.

Then let go and retreat into a haven of silence. He no longer belongs to you.

This is unconditional love, and unconditional nurturing. He has nothing to do with you, and especially nothing to do with your interests.

You have no expectations of him, simply because he is your flesh and blood.

You brought him into this world, and it is your responsibility to take him on this full and rich journey of life.

To experience the joy of devotion and the fullness of love at different levels.

You grow with him, as if you were growing all over again.

You see in an electric light where certain habits and beliefs of yours have their roots. This is his gift to you.

Not to mention the primordial gift of unconditional trust and dependence.

In being loved, you learn how to love him.

Being a parent is not an easy task, there are many responsibilities and duties, but such a life is also a heavy and fruitful one.

07

After writing it, I realized that I was asking a little too much of my parents by this standard.

Probably at this age, I was thinking more about how I would treat my children if I were a parent. All I could think about was my responsibility.

That part of my growth as a child is over, and even if my parents weren’t perfect, the love they gave me was enough to sustain me through the long journey of self-discovery.

If love isn’t enough, then grow up on your own, with teachers, peers, and many, many more gurus hidden in books. Together they can shape your world.

Destiny is simply each person’s own choice.

08

When parents are not perfect as children, they fix themselves. Don’t expect them, don’t blame God.

When you are a parent, you don’t care what your child’s qualifications are, but do your best to provide guidance.

This is how one can control one’s own destiny in one’s own hands.

Li Jing had such a son, which is considered bad luck from heaven, but he did not give up, preferring to trade his life for a life.

Some friends say this is too idealistic, and that most parents would be unqualified according to this standard. But so what? I want to be a qualified parent.

If you want to be on top, you have to be on top.

Figure out for yourself what the highest standard is, and then use that as a guide, maybe you can’t do it, but at least you can come close.
