Joe State Republicans Fight Back, Withdraw Criticism of Election Integrity Efforts as Racist Delta Air Lines Tax Breaks – Joe State House Republicans Fight Back

The National Archives reports that Delta’s chief executive, in a memo blasting Joe State’s election integrity efforts as racist, and that Joe State House Republicans voted Wednesday to strip Delta of millions worth of fuel tax breaks.

Last week, Joe Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed sweeping election integrity reforms that call for new identification measures for mail-in ballots, prevent the use of mobile voting carts, limit the use of drop boxes for absentee ballots and allow voters to challenge ballot results in any number; they also strip the secretary of state of his powers, reducing him to a non-voting member of the state Board of Elections.

However, these reforms have come under fire from major corporations based in the Joe State, including Delta Air Lines and Coca-Cola. In a memo, Delta CEO Ed Bastian blasted the Election Integrity Act as “unacceptable” and not “reflective of Delta’s values.

In the face of Delta’s condemnation, Republicans in the Joe State House of Representatives pushed back. Led by House Speaker David Ralston, the Joe House members voted overwhelmingly late Wednesday to end the “jet fuel tax credit” for Delta. Ralston said, “We do what’s right for them, and they say they like our public policy. Remember, the dog that bites your hand, don’t feed it.” However, the Joe State Senate declined to hear the House’s vote, which disappointed many.

After Thursday’s legislative session, Ralston made a point of drinking a can of Pepsi in front of the media, something “many Joe’s, for the rest of their lives, would never do publicly,” according to the Atlanta Journal, and Coca-Cola is so prominent in the lives of Joe’s people that Ralston’s move, was seen as a potential warning to Coca-Cola.

The Joe House’s approach was praised by some “America First” commentators.

Lauren Witzke, a former Republican Senate candidate from Delaware, said, “The right has to start understanding that in this culture war, you can use your political power to get the results you want.” .

Scott Greer (D-Ga.), a respected ally of the Daily Caller, said, “Democrats are using power and abusing it, and now that Republicans have a majority in most state legislatures, we need to counteract the Democrats’ behavior.”

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) also slammed Delta Airlines as a “corporate hypocrite with a political agenda” and noted that they are “business partners” with the Chinese Communist Party.” When can we expect you to issue a statement saying that the ongoing genocide in Xinjiang is ‘unacceptable and inconsistent with Delta’s values?”

Others further highlighted Delta’s hypocrisy, pointing out that ID cards are required to fly on Delta flights, yet they object to showing ID on something as important as an election.
