Chinese exporters forced to raise prices as costs rise
Many Chinese exporters have been forced to raise the prices of their exports as raw material prices have been rising recently, while blockages in the Suez Canal have put more pressure on global supply routes and increased transportation costs.
The Wall Street Journal reported on March 30 that prices for chemicals and metals used by outdoor furniture maker Resysta AV to produce cushions, foam and frames have risen rapidly in recent months.
Resysta AV has factories in China and Indonesia. Rene de Jong, its director in Foshan, Guangdong, China, said, “I’ve lived in China for almost 25 years and I’ve never seen anything like this, never seen steel and aluminum prices soar all the way up and shipping costs as high as they are now.”
De Jong said the company’s margins are under pressure and is preparing to raise prices on new orders by about 7 percent this summer.
A Chinese toy wholesaler, for its part, has raised prices across the board for new orders by 10-15 percent since early March.
The report said it is increasingly difficult for Chinese factories to control costs at a Time when prices for commodities such as lumber, steel and cotton are all rising, especially after last year’s Communist Party virus outbreak and anti-Epidemic embargo hurt profits.
Transportation costs have soared in recent months, affected by port bottlenecks and container shortages. In some cases, customers are asking Chinese suppliers to share this cost. In other cases, Chinese factories are having to pay more to ship imported raw materials, such as lumber.
At the same time, many commodity prices remain high or continue to climb, and some companies are choosing to pass those costs on to their customers.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the price of Chinese goods exported to the U.S. rose a cumulative 1.2 percent over the past year, the biggest increase since 2012, with most of that occurring in the three months ending in February.
More Yin and Yang? China’s Communist Party Suddenly Misses 35-Nation Climate Conference
Ministers from 35 countries attended the Climate and Development Summit on Wednesday (March 31), but the Chinese Communist Party, which has pledged to contribute to climate change, was strangely absent.
The UK, the organizer of the conference, said they invited the Chinese Communist Party to the event, but it did not show up. The absence of the Chinese Communist Party raised concerns at the international conference, which was attended by major emitters such as the United States, the European Union and India.

The UK describes today’s Climate and Development Summit (Wednesday) as a “pivotal moment” ahead of this year’s COP26 (26th UN Climate Change Conference) in Glasgow. It is a “pivotal moment” ahead of this year’s COP26 conference in Glasgow.
The international conference had hoped for leadership from the Chinese Communist Party, which is not only the world’s largest emitter of carbon dioxide, but also often portrays itself as a “key ally” of developing countries. As Xi Jinping once said, China should supposedly “show its role as a great power”.
Both the current British and U.S. governments have expressed a willingness to actively engage with the Chinese Communist Party in areas such as trade and climate change, while defending human rights. U.S. President Joe Biden has also extended an invitation for Xi to attend an international climate conference from April 22-23.
A Bloomberg opinion piece on March 31 said that the CCP’s retaliation against Western societies can only help them recognize the CCP more clearly.
The article also said that the CCP’s surprise decision not to attend the climate change conference on Wednesday could be another “pose”, as if the CCP’s Yang Jiechi had cursed the U.S. on camera during the recent U.S. conference in Alaska, and once the cameras were turned off, Yang Jiechi engaged the U.S. in a Once the cameras were turned off, Yang Jiechi had “useful and beneficial talks” with the U.S. to enhance mutual understanding.
Some of the CCP’s “dramatic” performances are intended for domestic audiences, as Beijing often uses the official media to trigger so-called “patriotic” reactions.
Commentator Tang Jingyuan said the CCP uses both “yin and yang” to its advantage. The yang side is for the world’s media, which is tantamount to a public opinion offensive. On the negative side, it is the private meeting behind closed doors, where the CCP often immediately changes its face and smiles.
Don’t Underestimate Xi Jinping’s Frenzy; Strong CCP Makes World More Antagonistic
On March 28, Le Monde published an analysis of the Chinese Communist Party by French scholar Alice Ekman, head of Asia at the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS), explaining its development strategy from geopolitics to the human rights situation.

The article points out that the CCP now occupies important positions in international organizations, and countries around the world inevitably rely on the CCP’s market. The CCP has signed trade agreements with many countries, and recently CCP diplomats have adopted both war-wolf and seduction diplomacy.
The power of the Chinese Communist Party has deepened the antagonism of countries around the world. The current situation is that countries are increasingly dependent on the CCP market for their imports, exports and trade interactions, and the demand for the CCP market is still increasing after the beginning of the CCP virus, while many countries are increasingly distrustful of the CCP regime, and building a new supply chain of commodities from scratch, especially some strategically important commodities takes time and money and is not affordable for every country, so the CCP market is for many countries This is why the CCP market is so important to many countries.
While some countries have sanctioned companies with ties to Xinjiang for political reasons, in practice it is very difficult to bypass products made in China.
Scholar Ackerman argues that Xi’s political fanaticism cannot be underestimated, as he is a stern man who emphasizes ideology and has stated that “socialism is better than capitalism” and that “the CCP should be confident” and “the CCP should provide solutions to the world. He believed in what he said and acted on it when he said “socialism is better than capitalism,” “the CCP should be confident” and “the CCP should provide solutions to the world.
The Communist Party has chosen not to formally establish security agreements with other countries because it has its own alliance-building measures, such as security alliances with Pakistan, Algeria and other countries through arms sales to friendly countries. The number of arms exports from the CCP, although behind the United States, is also growing significantly.
The CCP is also rapidly developing its own satellite system, Beidou, to provide military imagery. The Communist Party’s North Industries Group sells missiles guided by its navigation system to a growing number of countries.
Scholar Ackerman points out that today, however, as the CCP has adapted international diplomatic standards, we observe the CCP adopting realistic diplomatic practices that can also be described as “non-diplomatic” actions, such as highly offensive statements by the CCP Foreign Ministry spokesperson, who has shown a determination not to accept any criticism and to respond bluntly to questions, and this kind of flame-filled diplomacy will continue in the coming years.
Scholar Ackerman argues that the CCP has meticulously orchestrated a two-sided diplomacy, choosing to aid poor countries, building partnerships to expand its influence, and establishing different partnerships aimed at marginalizing U.S. influence and achieving the goal of weakening its dominance over the United States. When more than 20 Western democracies criticized the CCP at the UN over the CCP’s Xinjiang Uyghur issue, Tibet and Hong Kong, the CCP fought back, and with the support of more than 50 countries, the CCP increasingly pits countries against each other.
Scholar Ackerman argues that whenever the EU, Canada, and Australia criticize the CCP on human rights issues such as Xinjiang and Hong Kong at the UN, the CCP pushes back, and human rights issues deepen the divide between the two sides.
Is the Chinese Communist Party trying to redesign the world order and change the post-World War II U.S.-dominated world norm?
Scholar Ackerman believes that the Chinese Communist Party under Xi Jinping’s leadership has such intentions. At the beginning of his administration, Xi Jinping stated that he wanted to establish new international relations and redefine the way countries interact with each other. Beijing believes that Western powers have a long history of promoting their ideas, norms and standards.
In Response to Communist Boycott, Investor Groups Urge European and American Companies Not to Compromise
Several Western apparel brands, including H&M and Adidas, have recently faced a wave of boycotts in mainland China over statements they had made concerned about forced labor in Xinjiang. Concerned that some companies may be succumbing to Communist pressure, an investor group recently urged dozens of European and American companies to provide information about their supply chains and cautioned them not to ignore situations that could lead to human rights abuses.
According to Reuters 30, the Investor Alliance for Human Rights, a group of more than 50 investors, is approaching more than 40 companies, including H&M, VF Corp, Hugo Boss and Inditex, to provide information on their supply chains. The Investor Alliance for Human Rights is approaching more than 40 companies, including H&M, VF Corp, Hugo Boss and Inditex, asking them to provide more information about their supply chains and urging them to avoid situations that could lead to human rights abuses.
The Investor’s Human Rights Coalition has more than 160 institutional investors and other organizations as members and currently manages more than $5 trillion in assets, according to the report. The group is supported by the New York-based Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility (ICCR).
Anita Dorett, program director for the Investor’s Human Rights Coalition, said she is concerned that some companies may remove text from their websites that concerns forced labor policies or pledge to buy cotton from the Chinese Communist Party in Xinjiang because of strong boycotts and official pressure from Chinese social media.
In addition, a spokesperson for BlackRock, a leading U.S. asset management firm, recently said to the public that a recent report issued by the firm has made it clear that “failure to address human rights-related risks can affect a company’s entire value chain, which can …… Impacting shareholder value.”
A spokeswoman for U.S. asset manager The Vanguard Group also said the company takes human rights issues, including allegations of forced labor, very seriously. “If a company’s business practices or products endanger people’s health or safety, it could also pose a long-term financial risk to investors,” she said.
The two top asset managers are major shareholders in many of the companies currently under boycott pressure in China, the report said.
China Daily: Epidemic Report Is a “Whitewash” Document by Communist Party and Some Westerners
The Wall Street Journal notes that Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which funded the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research program and supported the “Access to Function” study, is in no position to reassure the public about the lab’s coronavirus research.
The article concludes by saying that this matter cannot be dismissed and that the Biden Administration should make public the information it has, otherwise Chinese propaganda will be mainstreamed under the powerlessness of the WHO, and that the Biden administration should start by refusing to accept the WHO’s “whitewash” of Wuhan since it says it wants to revive the multilateral mechanism.
The United States has more than 100 people infected in Washington state after 2 doses of vaccination
The U.S. media has revealed that Washington State epidemiologists have reported 102 “vaccine breakthrough cases” of Common Central Pneumonia (COVID-19) in the state in the last two months, and the Washington State Department of Health is investigating the reports. A “vaccine breakthrough case” is defined as a case in which a person has been fully vaccinated for two weeks and then tested positive for the CCP virus.
The Washington State Department of Health is currently investigating evidence of reported vaccine breakthrough cases in the state, local media reported on March 31. According to a related report provided by epidemiologists, evidence of 102 vaccine breakthrough cases has been found among the 1 million people who have received a full dose of the vaccine in Washington state since February 1.
Recently, a woman named Melanie Rosen of Long Island, New York, was diagnosed with CCP pneumonia after having administered her second dose of the Modena vaccine a month earlier. Through the media, she appealed to those who have already been vaccinated: “You can still get the disease and you can still continue to spread the virus”.
Gunfire pounded! Pompeo: Tandezai colluded with Xi Jinping “That’s why I’m advocating that we withdraw from WHO”
Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted Tuesday a blast at WHO Secretary General Mike Tan and Chinese Communist Party President Xi Jinping.
Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted Tuesday that the report released by the WHO is a continuation of the Chinese Communist Party’s hoax with the WHO’s disinformation campaign. “This is why I advocate that we withdraw from the WHO.”
Pompeo also condemned WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus for helping the Chinese Communist Party cover up the outbreak, saying, “Tan conspired with Xi (Jinping) to conceal human-to-human information at a critical time. The Wuhan Institute for Virus Research (WIV) remains the most likely source of the virus.” Pompeo also denounced the WHO as complicit in the Chinese Communist Party.
Pompeo had previously raised the possibility of the virus leaking from the Wuhan Institute of Virus on several occasions.
CDC: Chinese Communist virus to be third leading cause of death for Americans in 2020
According to a report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on March 31, Chinese communist viruses (Wuhan virus and New Coronavirus) are the third leading cause of death for Americans in 2020, the Epoch Times reported.
According to Foxnews, the CDC reported in its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report that Chinese communist viruses were the third leading cause of death last year, after heart disease and cancer.
In total, the virus killed about 375,000 people in 2020, according to the report.
In its report, the federal agency determined that about 91 percent of COVID-19-related deaths in 2020 were directly caused by COVID-19. overall age-adjusted death rate in 2020, an increase of 15.9 percent.
In the disaggregated statistics, the CDC revealed that “non-Hispanic blacks, non-Hispanic American Indians or Alaska Natives had the highest total number of deaths.”
The CDC said these findings support the accuracy of U.S. surveillance of deaths caused by the CCA virus using official death certificates.
