President Trump holds a rally in the Joe State on Jan. 4 to campaign for Republican Sen.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump (R-Texas) said Tuesday (March 30) that he may soon hold a large rally to inform people that there is hope for the future.
“We’re looking at having a (rally) relatively soon just to let people know there’s hope for the future.” The former president said in an interview with his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, in Florida Tuesday night.
Trump has not held a public event since he left the presidency on Jan. 20.
“I like to have events. But more importantly, I think we can get the word out.” He said.
Trump also said you know if you’re going to take that state when you hold a rally. “I can tell if we’re going to win a state by a rally. When we schedule a rally 24 hours before and we have 35,000, 40,000 people show up, Florida we have 55,000. In Butler, Pennsylvania, we had 52,000 people.” Trump said, “When you have 52,000 people showing up quickly to rallies …… people lining up four days in advance, they’re staying in tents and other facilities – it’s the most incredible thing. “
Trump added that in no way did he lose Pennsylvania, “By the way, we didn’t (lose), it was a hoax, the whole thing was a hoax.”
Trump denounced Biden‘s policies as destroying American energy, and the Second Amendment will be the next target. “They’re going to destroy the Second Amendment.” Trump said.
Trump then said people can hold out hope that he will run for president again in 2024.
“You do have hope, that much I can tell you. We love our country.” He said, “This country, we all owe our country a lot, but now we have to help our country.”
In a March 16 interview with Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo, Trump said, “According to every poll, they want me to run again, but we’ll see, and we’ll see. First step, we have to see what we can do with the House of Representatives, and I think we have a very, very good chance of taking it back.”
He said he would make a decision after the 2022 midterm elections.
