“It’s definitely more than a vaccine pass, and I can’t say that enough. It’s too powerful” – Former Clinton advisor: Vaccine passport will end human freedom

Naomi Wolf, a former Clinton adviser, said the mandatory Chinese Communist virus (COVID-19) vaccine passport that has become a hot button in recent days is worrisome and “will end human freedom in the West if the program goes ahead as planned.”

Wolfe told Fox News on March 28, “‘Vaccine passport’ sounds like a good thing, and if you don’t understand what those platforms can do, I’m the CEO of a tech company and I understand what this platform can do.” Wolf, also an author, said, “It’s not about vaccines, it’s not about viruses, it’s about your personal data. Once it’s launched, you don’t have a choice to be part of that system.”

“What people have to understand is that any other feature can be loaded onto the platform without any problem,” Wolfe added, adding that such data can be “merged with your Paypal account, with your digital currency” and that “Microsoft is already talking about merging it with payment plans.”

Over the weekend, the Washington Post and ABC, citing anonymous sources, reported that the Biden administration is working to develop national vaccine passport standards and trying to roll them out nationwide, and that some commercial and corporate sectors will need to display vaccine passports in order to do business. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has participated in the WHO (World health Organization) vaccine passport program and is preparing to promote the product internationally, the report said.

Also over the weekend, New York State was the first to launch the Excelsior Pass, a vaccine passport software developed in conjunction with IBM for large venues such as Madison Square Garden and New York businesses, which is currently not mandatory. The plan has come under fire from civil liberties groups and supporters.

Wolfe argued that the so-called vaccine passport would lead to “the end of civil society, and they’re trying to extend it around the world.”

“It’s definitely not just a vaccine passport, I can’t say that enough, it’s so powerful that it will have the ability to open up your Life or close down your life and decide whether you can participate in society or be marginalized.”

Taking it a step further, Wolfe likens these programs to the CCP’s surveillance of its population and the escalation of its “social credit score.”

She asks, “How does [the CCP] keep a billion people under totalitarian rule?” “The Chinese Communist Party can find any dissident in five minutes, and that could actually happen here in a matter of months.”

On March 29, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki responded to the news, saying the administration had not issued a mandatory requirement for vaccine passports, adding, “We think this will be driven by the private sector.”

Some countries are already using such passports. Israel created a pass in February to allow people to enter gyms and hotels. Iceland now uses a vaccine passport that allows travel to foreign countries, while Saudi Arabia offers an App-based passport for vaccinators.

“And the basis of all of this is, what are you going to use it for?” Melinda Mills, director of the University of Oxford’s Leverhulme Center for Population Sciences, then asked, according to the Wall Street Journal, “Is it for international travel? Is it to get a job? Or to buy milk?”
