Recently, Republican lawmakers in Georgia passed an election reform bill aimed at restoring fairness to elections, called the Election Integrity Act of 2021. In response, former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a statement on Friday, March 26, praising the efforts of Republicans in the Joe State.
In a statement released Friday through his Save America PAC, Trump said, “Congratulations to the Georgia and Georgia legislatures for changing their election rules and regulations. They have learned from the tragic experience of the 2020 presidential election and won’t allow it to happen again. It’s unfortunate that these changes weren’t made sooner!”

The Election Integrity Act passed by the Joe State Legislature officially became the law of the land on Thursday, March 25, after being signed by Joe State Governor Brian Kemp. Under the new bill, Joe voters will be required to provide a copy of their photo ID before they can vote with an absentee ballot. In addition, the new bill proposes a number of changes, including enhanced security measures at Joe’s ballot boxes.
The new bill makes new requirements for Joe voter ID, requiring voters to present a driver’s license or state-approved ID in order to vote by mail. This replaces the existing signature matching check process. And for ballot boxes, the new bill requires that a person be designated to continuously monitor the ballot box to ensure its security.
The 95-page bill passed the Joe House of Representatives by a vote of 100-75 and the Joe Senate by a vote of 34-20. The vote was entirely along party lines, with no Democrats voting for the bill.
Kemp tweeted after signing the bill Thursday that Joe’s election reform bill is designed to ensure “safe, fair and open” elections in Joe. He said that while passing the bill “took Time and effort,” reforming Joe’s election process was imperative.
Like many of you, I understand that after last November, we must make significant changes to elections in the state of Joe,” Kemp said. …… There is no question that there are many troubling issues with the way our elections are handled, and those issues will lead to a crisis of confidence in the ballot box for Joe Staters.”
In the 2020 presidential election, more than 1.3 million voters in Joe State used mail-in ballots. However, only one county in Joe has conducted signature audits of mail-in ballots, and as a result, Democrat Biden‘s win in the Joe election has been widely questioned by many Republicans, including Trump.
